As a reminder for those who are interested in viewing the first exhibited images from my ‘China’s Growing Sands‘ project, here are a couple of promo-pieces that have come out for the event tomorrow. Two of Beijing’s leading magazines, the Beijinger and Beijing City Weekend, approached me in the past couple of weeks to conduct a couple of short interviews to promote the event and give a little background to myself and the work. Please take a moment to read the pieces here and here.
With the clock ticking down to the presenting of the work tomorrow, I am making my final preparations for the show. It has been quite a hectic process so far and it is not over yet. I will save most of my thoughts on my preparations for the exhibition for another blog post, possibly next week. I need to make sure it goes smoothly before I can start to write about it!
The opening will run from 6 p.m. tomorrow at Cafe Zarah in Beijing for one month. I will be presenting my multimedia presentation from 6 p.m. tomorrow evening, so if you would like to see this projected, please try to get there a little early. As an extra note, all the images will be for sale on the night (framed 40×30) and throughout the month of the exhibition.
Thanks as ever for you support and hope to see you tomorrow night!
