This week I will be taking over the Smithsonian Magazine Instagram feed this week, sharing images from my recent travels to Sri Lanka to document the rise in human-elephant conflict in the south asian island nation.
Followers of my work will know that this work was created late last year and is part of my long-term work documenting the current threats to the world’s biodiversity hotspots and the global biodiversity extinction crisis.
I appreciate the opportunity Smithsonian Magazine has given me to share this work with their extensive audience and hope it brings more attention to this issue. If you’re on Instagram, I encourage you to follow the magazine’s feed. There are weekly takeovers with fascinating photo-stories from around the world.
