National Geographic – What We Liked

A quick post today to show you a recent image feature on the National Geographic Creative website in the “What We Liked” section.

Each week, editors from National Geographic pick their favourite images from those published by the agency on social media, mostly from the agency’s photographer’s Instagram accounts. As a contributing photographer to the agency, they picked out one of my images as they favourite’s of the week for the first post of 2017.

The image is of three ‘takhi’, wild Mongolian horses, grazing on the grasslands of central Mongolia. This image was taken while covering a story on the successful reintroduction of this threatened species in Mongolia. You can see the publication here. It’s a rare good news story from the world of conservation.

Be sure to check out National Geographic Creative’s blog for regular updates from what we at the agency are doing.
