Tuvalu – Losing Paradise – Channel4 News Documentary

I’m pleased to see some of my drone footage being used as part of the UK’s Channel 4 News documentary about Tuvalu, premiering at COP 28 this month.

It’s always been my ambition that my work, both photo and video, become part of the dialogue about the threats and consequences of climate change. Knowing my imagery is being viewed by attendees at the conference gives me some satisfaction that photography and documentary filmmaking can at least help visualise the threats we are facing.

“A new film from Channel 4 News, charting an era-defining project to negotiate a future for the first nation to be lost to climate change.” – COP28

“What happens to these 11,000 Polynesians as they become the blueprint for the billion plus people due to be displaced in the coming decades. With behind-the-scenes access, this is the story of our century, not two by two but conceiving a modern-day arc to save a people, their culture, heritage, and government from the waves and guarantee them a sovereign and dignified life elsewhere.”
