Environmental Photographer of the Year – Changing Environments Prize
I’m very happy to share the news that one of my images recently received the Environmental Photographer of the Year Changing Environments Prize from CIWEM.
Taken in Tuvalu, it depicts the effects of coastal erosion, in the south west Pacific. It’s a problem that is being exacerbated by sea level rise and is from a series I produced in early 2019 looking at the impacts of sea level rise, coastal erosion and climate change impacts on the tiny south west Pacific island nation of Tuvalu.
I hope this prize helps draw attention to what is happening in this remote corner of the world. Congratulations to all the other photographers whose work was also recognised with this award.
